Why are your prices higher than some other sites?

All my Print on Demand product prices include Shipping & Sales Tax as well as: The Blank Item, Production and Printing Fees, Packaging, and Merchant FeesThen, I add my profit margin.

For example: If I didn't do this, I could sell a shirt for say $25 (making it seem cheaper in my store) but then, add the tax, merchant fees, and shipping... now you're paying $40+ at checkout anyway.

Blank product cost, and shipping costs are determined by Printful, my Print on Demand service provider. They offer a premium service with quality products, they offer me customer support, and they print everything themselves, in their own printing facilities (not outsourced), which all comes at a higher price tag than other, cheaper, services.

For more info on that, read: 6 Reasons I Choose Printful As My Print-On-Demand Partner

I also manage and pay for my own website hosting and online shopping cart, so I have to factor in my time doing website maintenance, SEO, as well as my business overhead costs and any marketing and advertising costs to promote my products. Not to mention, all the time I spend painting and designing my products!

I add these fees into the final sale price so that WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU PAY AT CHECKOUT! No surprises. I just think this is a better way to do it. You know exactly what you're paying without any surprises at checkout.... except for the occasional discount, but that's the kind of surprise you want to see!

Why do items in different categories ship separately?

I use a Print on Demand service and this is their doing! While they do print everything "in house" (not outsourced to foreign countries) they have different teams and departments that print different items. If you order a t-shirt and a canvas print, they are going to the same printing facility, however, they are being printed and shipped from different departments.

Is there a way to have them ship together?

No. However, if you order multiple items from the same category (the POD provider's categories, not the ones I have created in my stores), they will be shipped together. For example, if you bought three t-shirts, they would likely all be printed at the same time and shipped in the same package.

Why can't I add an Original Artwork to my shopping cart?

Because my website store is set up with a Print on Demand service (orders placed on my site are sent to my POD provider to print, pack, and ship) I don't have a way to separate my Original Artwork from my store in a way that allows MY site to calculate shipping rates automatically in my shopping cart.

So for Original Art, you will have to contact me directly, I'll get your details and figure out what the shipping will be, and if I can cover it or not. This also helps me ensure I'm not dealing with a scammer, who might simply revoke the charge, or use a stolen credit card, or other such nefarious practices. An E-Transfer is direct from you to me. Once done, it's done.

Can I pay you Cash or E-transfer?

Yes and No...

For Original Artwork, I ONLY ACCEPT e-transfer or cash (in person).

I must receive payment in full before I ship the artwork. Shipping fees may be extra, depending on where you are located and how much it will cost. For shipping fees around $50-$75, for example, I may cover if the artwork is higher in price, but if the shipping is going to cost an additional $100-$200 or something like that, you would have to cover the shipping. This will be calculated and determined before the final sale.

Other than that, all orders must be processed online through my website payment system.

Why don't you have shirt sizes larger than 2XL?

I can only sell what's available to me as a Canadian Seller.  Since I sell mostly to Canada and the US, I try to only offer colours and shirt sizes that are available to both countries.

The most common sizes are S-M-L-XL-2XL and those are widely available in all printing facilities across Canada and the USA, so I just keep my offerings in that range. I don't have a way to set up my store to show additional sizes in the USA.

Why not offer a different shirt, then?

I've browsed through all options, and yes, there are other shirts I could use, but they are either higher in price (sometimes by $10-$15), don't have the same editing options, print area, etc, or they aren't available in Canada and/or the USA.
